As a Student Ambassador, you’ll be the face of FIRST, guiding guests, VIPs, and event attendees through the exciting world of competitive robotics. From explaining the latest game challenge to showing off the coolest bots in the Pit, you’ll inspire others to join the movement and see just how life-changing FIRST can be!

What You’ll Do

✅ Lead fun and engaging tours of the Pit (because robots are awesome!)
✅ Welcome and interact with VIPs, sponsors, and special guests
✅ Chat with teams and students to learn about their projects and share their stories
✅ Check in at the Information & Welcome Table 15 minutes before your shift starts

Who Can Apply?

🔹 Current students on a FIRST team (FRC, FTC, or FLL)
🔹 Outgoing, friendly, and great at talking about all things FIRST!
🔹 Familiar with robot design, build season challenges, fundraising, and sponsorship
🔹 Know the current year’s game inside and out (scoring, objectives, and build restrictions)
🔹 Strong communication skills and the ability to move around the event space
